Latest News Update About Rock And Roll Half Marathon Chicago: Rock n Roll Half Marathon Chicago starts at 6:30 am on Columbus & Jackson. Plan to arrive about an hour early to give yourself plenty of time to navigate through the Start Line Village and check your bag at Gear Check.As the race starts and finishes on Columbus Drive in Grant Park, there will be NO shuttle services provided for runners or

spectators. Runners can be dropped off or drive and park near the start line.

After runners cross the finish line they will enter the Secure Zone to receive water, medals, post race snacks and other runner amenities.

The secure zone is for runners only � spectators must stay in the general finish line area. Once runners leave the Secure Zone, they can meet up with friends and family at the family reunion area by the main concert stage and the MGD64 Beer Garden in Grant Park.

Within the Family Reunion area there are signs with large letters (A-Z). Participants and spectators are encouraged to choose a letter based on last name and meet there.

Age group awards will be presented 3-deep in all age divisions for both male and female categories. Age group awards will be mailed within 4 to 6 weeks after the event.

In accordance with USATF Rules, age group awards will be determined by chip time. Results will be posted on www.chicago.competitor.com race day after 7 pm CST.
