Heavyweight boxer James "Lights Out" Toney, probably the most prominent boxing star to cross over to mixed martial arts, faces UFC legend and 5-time champion Randy "The Natural" Couture. Only a few people are giving James Toney a "puncher's chance" to pull it off against Randy Couture. This makes the heavyweight interesting as anything can happen in this fight. Couture, who recently appeared in the Sylvester Stallone movie "The Expendables", has the advantage in terms of well-rounded MMA skills and experience but if Toney connects a clean punch on a takedown or clinch, then it could be lights out for Couture.
In the main event, BJ "The Prodigy" Penn tries to reclaim the UFC lightweight crown that he lost to Frankie "The Answer" Edgar at UFC 112. BJ Penn lost a close unanimous decision to Frankie Edgar as he struggled matching up with Edgar's quickness. Penn is considered the greatest lightweight champion but Edgar has shown improvements each fight. Edgar is expected to use his quickness once again and it will be up to Penn to win back the lightweight title.
