Hanley Ramirez comes up as the final batter in the home run derby, needing 11 10 home runs to tie and 12 11 to win.
Update: Ramirez hits one home run in his first four outs, but then hits three in a row, one up in the rock pile.
Update: Hanley hits just one more home run for five in the round, and David Ortiz wins the home run derby. A great win for Big Papi!
Update: I thought ESPN improved their coverage of the derby this year. They dropped the interviews after each at bat, and often didn't go to commercial between batters. That and fewer home runs sped the competition up, so the show didn't drag as much.
