Zulqarnain Haider Seeks Political Asylum in BritainSports News, Pakistani wicket keeper Zulqarnain Haider sought political asylum in Britain. Zulqarnain said that he had been threatened for not fixing the match. Zulqarnain Haider gave a statement to immigration officials at London airport, stating that he has been threatened by bookies belonging from India; if he returns to Pakistan, they will kill him.






While on the other side, Zulqarnain Haider also told that he was threatened for not fixing the fourth and fifth odi's in Dubai. He left the team because he never wanted to get involved in match fixing. His family is also in danger so government must provide safety to them.

Pakistan's wicket keeper Zulqarnain Haider disappeared mysteriously from his hotel room in Dubai, Dunya News reported on Monday. Earlier the wicketkeeper said in his facebook post that he was leaving cricket as someone gave him threatening message to lose in last match or he would be killed.
