ADELAIDE: Australia Set Pakistan 287-run Target in 3rd ODI, Pakistan were given by Australia a difficult target of 287 runs in the third One-day International here at the Adelaide Oval on Tuesday.

Australia set a target of 287 runs for Pakistan on the 3rd ODI in Adelaide.

After winning the toss, Kangaroos decided to bat first.

Openers Shane Watson and Shawn Marsh played an innings of 33 and 83 respectively and their partnership sustained till 63 runs.

Skipper Ponting was ducked while Cameron White 28 and Clarke made the 40th half century of his career with 80 score. Hussey added 49 runs to scorecard. Umar Gul and Rana Naveed each took two wickets while Muhammad Asif and Syed Ajmal each got one. Pakistan require 287 runs with 10 wickets and 49.5 overs remaining.
