Florida Gators Football, Latest News Update About Florida Gators Football: As Carly Simon once sang, anticipation has made me wait and kept me waiting. Finally the day has come to once again break out the Gator gear (I have my lucky Gator t-shirt on), get some cold ones chilling in the fridge, and get back into the Spirit of Saturdays in the fall of the year once again.
Those folks up north can't quite understand what college football means here in the Southern states; it's a way of life of such a magnitude that people plan their social calendars around it until the end of the bowl games.
As much as I'd love to be up in Gainesville right now, money and my health aren't allowing that (like Percy Harvin I also suffer from migraines, but not as severe as his are) � but I still have a great seat in the comfort of my own home, bring able to chat online with others watching the game.
My anticipation won't be for very much longer � less than one hour from now the Johnny Brantley Era officially kicks off with a healthy, more invigorated Urban Meyer in charge, a cast of new freshmen and talented underclassmen making up the majority of our roster. I have high hopes for this team, but not the lofty expectations that a few others have. I see us getting to Atlanta, but I'm letting the chips fall where they may as far as the post-season goes. At any rate, our 2010 Gators have something to prove.
