Jamison To Cavs

Jamison To Cavs, Just hours before the NBA Trade Deadline, the Cleveland Cavaliers have swung a deal that will undoubtedly pad them for a deep playoff-run. The team has acquired star F Antawn Jamison from the Washington Wizards in part of a three-team deal. The details are as followed: -The Cavs receive Jamison alongside former high school superstar G Sebastian Telfair from the Los Angeles Clippers.


-The Wizards will get the most out of the deal, as they obtain F Brian Skinner, F Al Thornton, C Zydrunas Ilgauskas, and a first-round pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. Ilgauskas' contract will expire at the end of the season, which will free up some cap room for the Wizards.





-Alongside, the Clippers will receive F Drew Gooden from the Cavaliers.


The move is significant for the Cavs, who now possess two players who average over 20 ppg. They will look to maintain dominance in the East, and will look to dominate from here on out.


Additionally, this is the second deal over the past few days that the Wizards have completed, as they dealt Caron Butler and DeShawn Stevenson to the Dallas Mavericks around the All-Star break. The team is evidently completing their task of selling off players, with a possible rebuilding off-season to come.
