Saina Nehwal, Saina Nehwal of India attained her career best ranking grabbing a place in top five in the ranking chart. The ace shuttler clinched the fifth spot with her stupendous performance in the All England Badminton Championships earlier this month. The Indian has added 58516.7646 points in her kitty according to the latest data released. However the ranking chart is still dominated by the Chinese players who have 6 spots out of the top 10.
The first four ranks are occupied by Chinese players Yihan Wang, Wang Lin, Xin Wang and Jiang Yanjiao. Saina became the first Indian woman to advance into the last four at the prestigious All England Open.
The 20-year-old Saina had a brilliant stint in 2009 where she triumphed in the Indonesian Open Super Series Tournament and advanced into the World Super Series Masters Final semis.
