Bank of America’s (BAC) main Web site was out of order for most of Friday, that affected an unknown number of customers but had ruled out a cyberattack, a representative said.
“Our online-banking service is available,” spokeswoman Anne Pace said in a telephone interview on Friday afternoon. “We ruled out a cyberattack, but are working with partners to determine the root cause.”
Bank of America Corp., one of the nation’s biggest banks, said it is trying to determine what is wrong with the Web site.
“Bank of America’s online banking service is available; however, some customers are having intermittent issues with access. We are determine the root cause” a spokeswoman said in a statement.
