Messi Goals, Germany? have already turned their attention to solving a particularly 'Messi 'problem as they gear up to take on Argentina. Sunday saw both sides power their way towards a World Cup quarter final encounter with comprehensive second round wins over England and Mexico respectively. And in a further intriguing twist, next Saturday's match will be a repeat of the game at the same stage four years ago that saw Germany triumph 4-2 on penalties in Berlin. This time the Europeans could well be considered the underdogs, but Joachim Loew's men are already plotting to stifle the talent of Fifa's World Player of the Year. "Messi is a difficult player to play against, if not the best in the world, there is no way one player can keep him at bay for the full 90 minutes," said Germany's Sami Khedira. "It will be a team effort and we may have to put several players on him. Having said that we have nothing to fear and we have a good chance of beating Argentina." Messi has yet to find the target in South Africa so far, and coach Diego Maradona has complained that he is in danger of being marked out of the tournament by overzealous opponents. The South Americans have still scored plenty without him, however, and their upcoming rivals are well aware of the dangers in store. "Argentina are a class up from England, but we can hurt them with our tactics and we have to believe in ourselves," said striker Miroslav Klose. "We have proven again that we are a 'tournament team' and we can raise our game. We have heard all these comments that Argentina are dying to beat us and see this as a revenge match. But this team should be able to hold their own against Argentina."
