Whether you are a professional athlete or a rookie, this event is sure to have a suitable race for you that will test your overall skill level and endurance. The series witnesses a number of athletes of different age groups, talent levels and backgrounds coming together to compete for personal achievements in particular races, whilst there are more serious athletes who compete for the highest score in the series.


The success of the Singapore Sprint Series in past years has caused the event to be reorganized in 2010 by TriBob. The main focus of the Series is to promote healthy living through the benefits of engaging in sport activities. As a result, even the most amateur athlete will be able to participate in the easier races of the Series. However, if you are a seasoned athlete, be prepared for a challenge with more difficult races that test both stamina and endurance.





The Singapore Sprint Series 2010 comprises of 3 primary events known as the Aquathlon, the Duathlon and the Triathlon. Each event will host 4 categories that include a kids, youth, mini and sprint level. The kids category allows children between the ages of 8 11 to participate, whilst the youth category allows kids between the ages of 12-15 to participate. The mini and sprint categories accept participants of any age (excluding the kids and youth age categories).


The Aquathlon for 2010 which will take place at Siloso Beach which will require participants to swim for a few hundred meters and then wind up the race by engaging in a sprint that lasts for a few kilometres. The Duathlon which will take place at the Sengkang is more challenging. Athletes will start off with a sprint, then bike for a few kilometres and sprint again to end the race. The most difficult of the races that require stamina is the Triathlon that involves swimming, biking and sprinting. This will take place at Changi Beach Park.


The scheduled dates for the Singapore Sprint Series for 2010 are 28th February, 14th March and 2nd May.
